Northwestern University is offering a fully funded, week-long George R.R Martin Summer Writing Workshop specifically for journalists who are interested in writing their first novel. The next workshop will take place in July 2025, and applications are open.
If you are a mid-career journalist (full-time, freelance, current, past) who wants to write a novel or fictional prose, please apply! The seven-day workshop will cover economy airfare, lodging and food.
