The AAJA Hawaii Chapter would like to congratulate Noelle Fujii, who will be participating in this year’s AAJA VOICES Program. Sponsored in part by the chapter, Fujii will be attending the national convention to for a multimedia experience amidst seasoned journalists.
Fujii is a recent graduate from University of Hawaii at Mānoa. She received her bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in Japanese.
While at UH, Fujii worked as news editor and editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, Ka Leo. During this time, she also had internships at Hawaii Business magazine and the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. This summer, she is interning again at Hawaii Business.
VOICES is a 26-year program dedicated to supporting budding journalists either currently in college or have recently graduated. The program allows participants to practice their reporting skills in the various mediums, while attending AAJA’s national convention.
